The need for Health and Safety Training comes from the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999

Good Health and Safety Training will improve confidence in your workforce, reduce work related ill health & sickness, reduce absenteeism, increase profits and production.

Our courses are provided at your workplace or at our central London training facility by fully qualified and highly experienced trainers.

We can also design courses around your needs and deliver these out of hours or at weekends.

A selection of our courses are listed below:

First Aid at Work (3 day)

Full First Aid at Work Qualification (HSE Approved). This 3 day course gives delegates the First Aid at Work Certificate.

First Aid Appointed Person

Appointed Persons (HSE Approved) for lower risk environments such as offices with small numbers.

Manual Handling

1/2 day course delivered by Physiotherapists with interactive exercises.

Working at Height

1/2 day course including ladders, step ladders and Work at Height Systems. An understanding of the Work at Height Regulations and Hierachy of control measures.

Fire Awareness

2 hour session on what to do in the event of a fire, how fires start and behave, preventative measures. Latest Fire Regulations.

Fire Warden Training

2 hour session. Practical use of Fire Extinguishers available, role of the fire warden, preventative measures, checks, tests and inspections.

Foundation in Health and Safety

1/2 day session. Introduction to Health and Safety, Law, principal legislation and focus on the key requirements, duties and responsibilities of companies and individuals.

CDM Awareness

1/2 day session. Introduction to the Construction Design Management Regulations, duties and duty holders, functions and roles, Site Management and Health and Safety on site.

Asbestos Awareness

1/2 day session. Introduction to Asbestos and the current legislation, what it looks like, where it was used, types and forms. What to do with it and how to deal with discovering it and how to react.

Business Continuity Planning

A 1 day course designed for Directors and Owners of businesses to aid in the planning and production of a comprehensive BCP. The course provides attendees with a BCP template and threat identification tool.

Health and Safety for Directors and Senior Managers

3/4 day course combining our foundation course with a Management module including duties and resposibilities, Corporate Manslaughter, Health and Safety at Work Act and the Management Model HSG65.

Risk Assessment Training

This 1/2 day course should be combined with the Foundation course. It gives delegates an understanding of the legislative requirements for Risk Assessment, how to write one, what should be in it and what to do with it. Practical exercises and project included. This will enable delegates to complete Risk Assessments in the workplace to a basic standard.
