Does my company need a Health & Safety Policy?
The Health & Safety At Work Act 1974 Section 2 (3) states:
'If you employ 5 or more people it is a legal requirement to have a written Health & Safety Policy.'
Failure to have a written Health & Safety Policy can result in the serving of an improvements notice by the Health & Safety Executive or Local Authorities.
